Somerset Skaters welcomes you to our siteOur mission statement"Somerset skaters enables all skaters across the county to meet mingle, socialise and learn a new skill in a safe friendly welcoming environment" TMNS is the sister group of Somerset Skaters - come and find BOTH groups on Facebook - LIKE and/or FOLLOW us - or even better be a part of us - we are friendly bunch who welcomes ALL SKATERS ALL AGES – whatever your level is. Our current community we have skaters between the ages of 4-69 For every session we have 'Star of the Week' & 'Most improved’ trophies that are awarded, please feel free to approach any crew member to give your nominations for your session -Everyone LOVES to get a hold of the trophies – will it be you this week?????Bring with you a drink with you for during your skate session. We have x2 locations for skating. Castle School Sports Hall Taunton & meet every Monday which is run by TMNS (Taunton Monday Night Skate) arrive from 640pm to sign in & kit up – start skating at 7pm lockers available – bring your own padlock. We are now back skating every Monday Night till Christmas , book online, arrive 640 pm skate 7-8 pm Huish Episcopi with LIfestyle Fitness in the sports hall - every 3rd Thurday of the Month, (run by Somerset Skaters) sessions starting on 19/9/24 – arrive 615pm to sign in – skate 630-730pm, free parking , changing rooms and lockers available. Book online ****ensure you book the correct location**** All bookings are non-refundable – please see our T&C's and our CANCELLATION policies on our drop-down menus located on our main page. Helmets and protection Pads are strongly recommended for all skaters CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 MUST NOW WEAR FULL PROTECTION -ELBOW, WRIST KNEE PADS & A HELMET & BE SUPERVISED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT. Quads In-liners all welcome - come and join us be a part of our great skate family.Basic skate skills can be taught on the night for anyone who wants to learn however YOU MUST BE WEARING FULL PROTECTION PADS & HELMETS TO TAKE PART please let our CREW know if there is something you want to learn on your session.CURRENTLY SESSIONS ARE very busy PRE-BOOKING ONLINE IS ADVISED through our website We may offer payment on the door (POTD) – if this is offered it will be announced through our social media Facebook pages either TMNS or Somerset Skaters pending on the venue - like and follow us and keep up to date – if payment on the door is offered – fees will be £7.50 pp & you must have your own skates/protection kit to take advantage on POTD Our Website closes on Sunday at 6pm for Castle school, Taunton TMNS bookings. For Langport our website will close for bookings the day before at 6pm. There is further information as you go through the booking process, Smile and wave to our camera and have some fun!
