Tynemouth Sailing Club, is located in The Haven, North Shields, NE30 4DG, UK Tynemouth Sailing Club – Dinghy Sailing from Tynemouth Haven The club sails from Priors Haven from March to October. We race on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons. We sail casually when conditions are good. Since winter 2019, we have also raced on Sundays in freshwater at Ladyburn Lake. It’s 40 minutes north of Newcastle, behind the Druridge Bay sand dunes. Along with our regular racing, we hold occasional open meetings. We host national or international fleets of dinghies at these events. | |
